An unusual entity that spends much of her time in her laboratory under the capital, engrossed in creating new Genma variants. One glimpse at the facility’s eerie nature is enough to make clear her twisted tastes.

The mad-science lineage of the Genma

A Genma experimenter is an Onimusha tradition — in Warlords, the Genma scientist Guildenstern created new Genma breeds (Reynaldo was his first creation; see the Genma faction), and Dokyo’s variant laboratory under Kyoto reads as this game’s answer to that role. The name itself echoes a famous Nara-period historical figure, though official material says nothing about any connection — treat that as a naming nod at most.
